Shirley Jones

Shirley A. Jones, age 87, of Wyoming, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Shirley was a loving mom and grandma who dearly loved her family. She had a special love for her grandchildren that was evident to all who knew her. Over the years, her and her husband, Frank, enjoyed traveling to many destinations. One of their favorite trips was attending the National Quartet Convention enjoying southern gospel music. Shirley worked faithfully for Old Kent Bank for over 30 years until she retired. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Frank. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Randy and Deb Jones, Terry Jones; grandchildren, Alexander Jones, Lisa and Kyle Kelly, Angela and John Brooks, Tony and Amber Jones; 11 great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dan and Nora Jones, Martha Smith, Mary Thatcher; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 6 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Don VanSlyke officiating. The burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 5-6 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
