April 21, 2024

Sheryl Diane Brower, age 81, of Jenison, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 21, 2024. We rejoice that she is now whole and complete in heaven, resting in the loving arms of Jesus. Sheryl was a kind and loving wife, mom, grandma, and sister who dearly loved her family. Over the years she actively served her church with her time and talents in various ways. Sheryl was blessed with talents of quilting and crafts. Many beautiful quilts have been enjoyed by her family and friends. She also enjoyed baking, cooking, and collecting dolls and antiques. She always loved a good bargain too, frequenting garage sales and flea markets. Many winters were spent down in Florida, where Sheryl and Paul made many wonderful friendships during their time there. Above all, her commitment to her faith and family was evident to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ron Corey. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Paul; children, Doug Brower, Dan and Sandy Brower, David and Dawn Brower; grandchildren, Diane Brower, Erika Brower and Cody Vanden Berg, Rachel Brower, Travis Brower, Logan Brower, Conner and Stephanie Brower, Dallas Brower, and Ramsey Brower; siblings, Kathy and Steve Neymeiyer, Jack and Nellie Corey; brother-in-law, Wayne and Donna Brower; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 11 am at Fellowship Church, 6610 36th Ave., Hudsonville, with Pastor Brent Beckett officiating. Burial will take place at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Wednesday, April 24, from 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and also on Thursday from 10-10:45 am prior to the service at church. The family would like to especially thank the staff and caregivers in the Reflections unit of Sunset Manor for the love and compassionate care given to Sheryl. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Sunset Legacy Foundation.
