Sherri Bono

Sherri (Van Dyken) Bono, age 57, of Allendale, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, after battling cancer for three and a half years. Sherri was a loving mother, grandmother, and daughter. She worked at Miller Johnson for 32 years as a legal secretary. Sherri was preceded in death by her grandson, Tristan Frye. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lindsay (Rick) Bidwell, Nicole (Justin) Frye; grandchildren, Makenzie, Aiden, Brantley, Cayson, and Ryder; parents, Gerard and Joanne Van Dyken; siblings, Terry (Dawn) Van Dyken, and Denise (Sean) Coffey; many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Life Stream Church, 6561 Lake Michigan Drive, Allendale, with Pastor Jim Maness officiating. The burial will be held at Allendale Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, August 27, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice www.spectrumhealth.org/foundation/giving.
