Sarah Marie Mangano

Sarah Mangano, age 49, of Detroit passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2026. She was preceded in death by her mother, Monica. She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Nickolas and Benjamin; her daughter, Rebekah; a sister, Lisa; brother, Michael; father, John and aunts and uncles as well as extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory. Sarah had a deep love for God that guided the way she lived her life. She found joy in the simple things, especially tending to her herb garden and creating a home that was always warm, welcoming, and spotless. She took pride in caring for her family and making sure everything around her was just right. She was a devoted mother, a strong and caring woman, and someone whose love and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her faith, her love, and the memories she created will live on forever. Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday, April 21 at  Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Steve Vanderwest officiating.  Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at  Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming.
