Ruth Swanson-Yerrick

Ruth Marie Swanson-Yerrick, age 67, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord on Monday, September 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ken and Dorothy Swanson; and sister, Pamela Swanson. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 3 years, Don Yerrick; children, JT and Roxanne Saladin, Josh and Julie Saladin, Justin and Samantha Saladin; grandchildren, Evan and Chloe Saladin, Parker, Regan, and McKenlee (MJ) Saladin, Malikai, Tiler, Bennett, Jamison, and Phoenix Saladin, Landon, and Emery Truskoski; siblings, Linda and Andy Grant, Patricia Swanson and Scott; niece, Melanie and Eric Cook; and her beloved cat, Charlie. Ruth was generous with her time and money and would make sure others were taken care of and had what they needed. She worked for 35 plus years for the City of Wyoming as a Police and 911 Dispatcher and the last 11 years at Trinity Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Customer Relations. She had a beautiful smile that will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. The burial will take place at Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday from 9-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Humane Society of West Michigan.
