Ruth Suskey

Ruth Ann Suskey, age 81, of Hudsonville, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 17, 2022. Ruth was a kind and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family. Over the years, she enjoyed traveling and making memories at many different places in the U.S. Ruth also enjoyed reading and playing her favorite game Setback with family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Frank Suskey; children, Debra Pena, Lori and Jay Moore, Michael and Katya Suskey; 11 grandchildren; siblings, Janet Dertien, Patricia Clark, Paula and Dan Rickman, Mary and Bill Johnson, Linda and Henry Clark; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Adam Peck officiating. The burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
