Ruth Lobert

Ruth Ann Lobert, age 82, of Jenison, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Over the years, Ruth volunteered for many organizations. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in the yard tending to her flowers, baking, playing cards, and traveling - with Hawaii as a favorite destination. She also had a love for ice cream and all things chocolate. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey, and infant son, Robbie. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kim Lobert, Kelly and Cindy Lobert, Chris and Ann Lobert, Lori and Eric Beyer; grandchildren: Caitlin Beyer, Madison Lobert, Ryan Lobert, Mason Lobert; great-grandchildren, Finn, and Gwen; a brother, Vernon Doerr; sister-in-law, Jeanette Doerr, Linda Doerr; and nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville, with  Rev. Douglas Braun presiding. Burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Tuesday, December 2 from 4-7 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. An additional time of visitation will be held starting at 10 am at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Love Your Neighbor.
