Ruth June Force

Ruth June Force, age 84, of Wyoming, was called home by the Lord on Thursday, May 20, 2021. She loved all creatures and her family, but most of all she loved her Lord and Savior. She worked hard her entire life, starting at the age of 16 and retired from S2 Yachts. She enjoyed golfing, fishing, photography, cake decorating, astronomy, softball, bowling, NASCAR, casinos and her cats. Volunteering faithfully at the Children’s Food Basket for many years was her passion. She loved her ride-alongs with the Wyoming Police Dept., and was a staunch supporter of her church food pantry. June was preceded in death by her grandmother, Fannie Irwin; uncles: John and Bud Irwin; her parents; sisters: Marian, Betty, Eleanor; and special friend, Wink Bruener. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: June and Dennis Thompson, Marilyn and Bob Moyers, Tom and Carolynn Favreau, Suzi and Tom Crowley; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and special friends and families. The family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to all her many special friends who helped and supported her for many years. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday May 23, 2021 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Burial will take place at Boyd Cemetery in Mecosta County. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 1-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
