Norman Fred Rogers

Norman Rogers, Age 88, of Byron Center, passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. Norman proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He was Vice President at Bissell until his retirement. He was an avid fan of Michigan State sports and in his free time he loved to golf and was a member at the Highlands Park Golf Course for many years. 

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lynda; his children Phil Rogers, Susan Johnson, Debra Parrish, Diane Koonce, Toni Taylor, Tracy Brechting; stepchildren, Joel Vanee, Jason Vanee, Michael Rogers, Mark Rogers, and David Rogers; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; and 1 step great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, November 5 at Calvary Church, 707 E Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids, with Rev. Dale Bjork officiating.  Burial will be held at a later date.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 1-2 pm at Calvary Church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Gilda's Club of Grand Rapids.
