Russell Katsma

Russell D. Katsma, age 93, of Wyoming, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 28, 2024. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Janice and William Dornbos, Rev. Thomas and Norine Katsma, Richard and Karen Katsma; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert  Katsma; and special friends, Gordon and Joyce Gort. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mollie Sue Katsma. Russell was a member of Eighth Reformed Church and proudly served in many areas. He was a devoted dad and grandpa and he will be deeply missed by those that knew him. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 1, at 11 a.m. at Eighth Reformed Church, 841 Burton St. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Harry Koops officiating. The burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, July 31, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, as well as one hour prior to the start of the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to a charity of one's choosing.
