Russell H. Ritter

Russell H. Ritter, age 90, of Hudsonville, slipped into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, December 29, 2019, while surrounded by his family.  He proudly served his country during the Korean War.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Jeannie Ritter; a brother, Marion; and a sister, Colleen Crouch. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 69 years, Jor (Georgianna); children, Rhonda and Jack Beukema; Denise Bulgarella-Pell, Randy and Karlene Ritter; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Sarah and Tim DeVries (Ben, Sam, Will, Tessa), Emily Fewless, Stephanie Schutt (Brendon), James Pell (Jada), Samantha and James Huston (Logan, Alex), Katelyn and Caio Tardin; brother-in-law Mark and Joyce Horness; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020, 2:00 pm at Jamestown Baptist Church, 2472 Quincy St., Hudsonville, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating.  Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Jamestown Baptist Church.
