Russell Brant

Russell L. Brant, age 83, of Allendale, left to go home on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. He was preceded in death by his sons; mother and stepfather, Vern and Arlene Cooley; brothers, Ivan LeRoy Cooley, Dick Brant; and great-niece, Ashley Houle. He will be lovingly remembered by his four children; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Kish; sister-in-law, Sharolyn Hill; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf, 6651 Scott St., Allendale. The burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday, July 8, from 5-8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association or United Cerebral Palsy of Michigan.
