Rosemary Wilkerson

Rosemary L. Ergang Wilkerson, age 89, of Grand Rapids and formerly Kingsley, MI, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 10, 2018. She will be remembered by many for her amazing artistic talents; particularly in carving, and her feisty personality. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Mae Bell Ergang; and siblings, Don, Harold, Emil/Junior, Martha Mae, and Lyle Ergang. She will be remembered by her children, Ray (Pat) Robinson, and Carol (Johnny) Venlet; her brother, Roger (Vera) Ergang; sisters in law,  Dorothy Ergang, Carol Ergang, and Ethel Ergang; grandchildren, DJ (Tammy) Venlet, Tammy (Scott) Glupker, Jamie (Leslie) Venlet, Missy (Adam) Sova, and Scott (Lisa) Robinson, 11 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren; and her niece, Denise (Darrin) Bitely, who spent many hours caring for and visiting with Rosey. A special thank you to the staff at Brookcrest Nursing Home for the unconditional care and love shown to Rosemary and her family throughout her time with them. A memorial service will be held on Sunday 2:00 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood) 4646 Kalamazoo Avenue SE. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Brookcrest Patient Assistance Fund.
