Rosemary   Van Haitsma

Van Haitsma, Rosemary Rosemary Van Haitsma left behind a life of Parkinson’s and cancer early Thursday to experience the presence of her heavenly Father and being pain free.  Her love of family was obvious to all and gave her the most joy of all her interests.  Widely traveled, she now has experienced the ultimate destination God’s grace offers.  Left behind with a large void are her husband of 53 years, Terry; daughter, Brenda (Robert) Canute; sons, Conrad (Roberta) Van Haitsma, Bradley (Kim) Van Haitsma.  Six grandchildren, Jessie, Alyssa, Evan, Grant, Luke and Ruby will miss the special individual times Grandma gave to each.  Her tight-knit family included sisters, Barb (Al) Jager, Karen (Ken) Michmerhuizen, Jan (Randy, deceased) DeBoer; brother, Russ (Connie) Van Dam; on Terry’s side are Glenn (Ruth) Van Haitsma, Dale (Charlotte) Van Haitsma and Carol De Korte (Dale Eding).  Funeral services will be held on Monday 11 am at Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, 4374 Ivanrest SW, Grandville, with Rev. Robert Uken officiating.  Interment East Drenthe Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.  In memory of Rosemary, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Grandville Christian School or The Potter’s House.   God is good!
