Rosalyn Mulder, age 66, of Grand Rapids, passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Rosalyn is survived by her husband, Merle; children, Jonathan (Amy) Mulder, Laura Boogaard, and Caralyn (Forrest) Klott; grandchildren, Chris (Heather) Mulder, Ashleigh (Sam) Krygsheld, Jonas Mulder, and Judah Mulder; mother, Ruth Leyendecker; brother, Gary (Sherry) Leyendecker; sister, Michele (Ken) Dorland; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, LuCarol Mulder, Ray and Nancy Mulder, and Sheryl and Walt Vander Waal. She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Leyendecker. Rosalyn’s abundant love, her amazing spirit, and her devotion to her family leaves a legacy of love that will be cherished for generations. She especially cherished her grandchildren and loved being their “Nana”. She enjoyed her friendships and the sunsets at Ox Bow Park and the many professional relationships she developed with customers, employees, and vendors of Kamp Oil. The family thanks everyone involved in her loving care at Breton Extended Care. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Friday, March 4 from 5-8 PM and also on Saturday, March 5 from 10-10:45 AM prior to the service at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 5 at 11 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Frank Guter and Rev. Gary Leyendecker officiating. Interment will be held at Riverbend Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding or the Rodney Mulder Scholarship Fund at Grand Valley State University.
