Rosalia Espindola

Rosalia Espindola, age 73, of Kentwood, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 28, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pio and Luisa Fernandez, and brothers, Miguel Fernandez and Cirilo Fernandez. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 37 years, Jose; children: Felix Martinez, Jose Espindola Jr., Carmen Martinez, Nelda Beardsley, Kriszelda Choiniere, Diana Wilson, Mateo Espindola, Selina Skipp, Salome Kennedy; 28 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Carmen Fernandez, Nilda Rodriguez, Virginia Savala, Alex Fernandez, Pio Fernandez Jr., John Fernandez, Ana Iris Fernandez-Sepulveda; many extended family and friends. Rosalia was a faithful servant of God. She helped to plant the Upper Room Bilingual Ministries Church of God, enjoyed many mission trips to Mexico and loved to volunteer at the Potter’s House School where she also worked for many years. She never met a stranger. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Potter’s House School Chapel, 810 Van Raalte Dr. SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49509, with Pastor Alex Fernandez and Pastor Felix Martinez officiating. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday, September 1 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, and from 9-11 am on Thursday at the Potter’s House School Chapel.
