Ronald W. Beery

Ronald W. Beery, Ph.D., age 80, of Hudsonville, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Alice; children: Annemarie and Matt Johnson, Al and Suzanne Beery, Don and Susan Beery, J. and R. Beery; grandchildren: Rebecca, Jemma, Alex, Evan, and Nicholas. Ronald was a professor of physics at Hope College and the president and founder of Audio Scripture Ministries a recording and translation ministry based on Romans 10:17 “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” Through his ministry, he was able to travel the world. He was active in music ministries, volunteered in many ways at home Repair Services and GVSU Campus Ministry. He was a member at Parkwood Presbyterian Church in Jenison, a historian and a fix it man. Along with his many hobbies, he was a farmer at heart. Above all he loved the Lord and his family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 3 at 11 am at Fellowship Reformed Church, 6610 36^th Ave., Hudsonville. Interment Ohio Corners Cemetery in Hilliards. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, October 2, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
