Ronald Frans

Ronald L. Frans, age 93, of Wyoming, was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, January 3, 2026. Ron was  blessed with  an independent spirit who spent several years as a delivery driver for PB Gast and later delivered parts for Kenowa Auto. He had a deep love of photography, finding joy in capturing everyday moments and the beauty around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Gertrude Frans; brother, Ray (MaryAnn) Frans; brother-in-law, Chuck Loux; nephew, Ray Frans, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sharon (Loux); nieces and nephews, Patricia Mosketti, Susan and Brandon Ogle, John Frans (Mary); and several other loving extended family members. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2025, at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 1048 Chicago Dr. SW, Wyoming, 49509, with Fr. Charlie Brown presiding. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff and caregivers of Elara Hospice and Courtland Assisted Living for the love and compassionate care given to Ron. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Elara Caring Hospice Foundation or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
