Roger Sinclair Dalstra

Roger Sinclair Dalstra, age 87, of Wyoming was called home to be in the arms of Jesus on Monday, March 14th, 2022. Roger was in the Navy and served on the USS Donner in the Korean War. He looked forward to traveling to the Annual Navy Reunion each year. He loved traveling, hunting, and gardening. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois Dalstra; parents, John and Idol Dalstra; brothers, Darrel, Raiford, and Ronald Dalstra; sister, Ardis Conde; grandson, Kenny Dalstra; great-grandson, Khyler Ramirez. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Donna and Dan Belanger, Dean and Laura Shore, Duane and Teresa Shore, David Dalstra, John and Deb Dalstra; daughter-in-law, Julie Shore; grandchildren, Heather Wesseldyk, Justin Belanger, Stephanie Ramirez, Stacie DeHaan, Erika Shore, Paige Shore, Alex Shore, Jeremy Dalstra, Karen Dalstra, Nicole Marklevit; 17 great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Marjorie Dalstra, Maxine Van Alstine; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday 2pm at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave, Wyoming, with David VanAlstine and Randy DonGiovanni officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 1-2pm prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warriors Project.
