Roger Lee Natte

Natte, Roger Lee Roger Lee Natte, age 72, of Hudsonville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 15, 2014.  He was born on October 17, 1941 to Barney and Bertha Natte, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his sister, Barbara Berkompas, and brother, Edwin Natte.  He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Beverly; children, Diane (Todd) LaMaire, Laura (Robb) Wesche, Craig (Ann) Natte; grandchildren, Brittney (Adam) Chiotti, Kirk LaMaire, Kaleigh (Ben) Vegter, Kyle Wesche, Austin, Danielle, Naomi, and Ace Natte; sisters, Marion (Jake) Poortvliet, Wilma (Don) Cronkright, Phyllis Wiers, Sharon (Jerry) Schippers; sisters-in-law, Mary Natte, Edith Baker; several nieces and nephews.  Roger proudly served his country in the US Army. He was known to many as the “phone man”, and he loved his family, his grandkids, and hunting for antiques.  The family would like to thank the staff of Grand Rapids Home for Veterans for the excellent care that was given to Roger.  Funeral services will be held on Friday 11 am at Fair Haven Ministries, 2900 Baldwin St., Hudsonville, with Rev. Gary Van Koevering officiating.  Interment Georgeotwn Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, as well as one hour prior to the service at the church.
