Roger Hansen

Roger Hansen, age 78, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Roger enjoyed riding motorcycles and riding four-wheelers and loved spending time outdoors, especially when the weather was nice. During the winter months, he eagerly looked forward to snowmobiling. Roger was outgoing and never met a stranger, easily making friends wherever he went. He cherished time spent with family and friends, creating lasting memories together. Roger also enjoyed relaxing at home, watching the Lions and Tigers games, and spending time swimming in his pool. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ener and Bernice Hansen; siblings, Betty Laramy, Lloyd Hansen, Ed Hansen, Richard “Dick” Hansen, and Joyce Miller. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Bob Hansen, Jane and Cruz Montalvo, Doug Hansen; daughter, Tara Hansen-Bullard; grandchildren, Marlee and Holden; several nieces and nephews. 

An open house to celebrate Roger’s life will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the American Legion Post #154, 2327 Byron Center Ave SW, Wyoming. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Legion Post #154.
