Roger Branderhorst

Roger (Lammert) Branderhorst, age 87, of Hudsonville, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 10, 2017. He was a charter member of Messiah CRC in Hudsonville.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Firdene; his  brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Genevieve Branderhorst. Roger will be lovingly remembered by his children, Donna and Gary Hoezee, Bonnie and Gary DeYoung, Sandy and Dan VanWyk, Nancy and Thomas Johnson, Vicky and David Smedley, Randy and Kim Branderhorst; 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marie DeVries, Hazel and Clifford Kragt, Jean and Roger Van Koevering, Marvin and Donna DeVries, Marilyn and Ronald Smith, Ardith and Bill Oomkes, Sherwin and Donna DeVries; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Messiah Christian Reformed Church, 2900 Springdale, Hudsonville. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hudsonville Christian School or to Unity Christian High School.
