Jill Raye Van Hill

Jill Van Hill, Age 74, of the greater Grand Rapids area, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 12, 2026. She was a dedicated and independent businesswoman who had worked as a professional insurance agent since 1984, serving many people throughout her community. Known for her class and style, she enjoyed shopping and traveling. She also had a special love for her beloved dog, Tiffany, who brought her much joy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maynard and Henrietta Prose. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Robert Nelson, Carol and Keith Wiltzer, Connie Long; nieces, nephews, and friends. A visitation will be held 5-7 pm on Monday, October 19, at MKD Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood. A private family burial will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the West Michigan Humane Society and Davenport College.
