Robert William Van Tatenhove

Van Tatenhove, Robert William Robert William Van Tatenhove, age 86, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian and also his brothers and sisters.  He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Rodger and Linda, Lee and Lois, Dale and Mary; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Ruth Kauppila.  Robert was a hard worker who enjoyed his family, gardening, and bowling.  He proudly served our country during WWII.  Memorial services will be held on Friday 1 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Mike Wetzig officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Mel Trotter Ministries, Santa Claus Girls, or the American Cancer Society.
