Robert W. Oatmen

Robert Oatmen, age 61, of Kentwood passed away on February 21, 2016. Growing up, Bob was active in scouting and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from East Kentwood High School in 1972 and went on to attend Michigan Technological University. He especially loved spending summers at the family cottage on Selkirk Lake where he enjoyed water skiing, swimming and fishing. Bob is survived by his siblings Ron and Jan Oatmen, Doug and Bev (Oatmen) Tramper and Al and Lori Oatmen. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and their children: Tom, Dana, and Ellie Oatmen, Ben Oatmen, Steve Oatmen, Keith, Andrea, and Micah Tramper, Erin Tramper, Brad and Kelsie Oatmen and Tyler Oatmen. Bob is preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Thelma Oatmen.
