Robert Vincent Jones

Robert V. Jones, age 85, of Sevierville, Tennessee, formerly of Wyoming, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed 20 years as “Santa Bob” at many different locations, specifically Walker Winter Fest and John Ball Zoo. He later enjoyed working at Dollywood’s Dreammore Resort in Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Vivian Jones; sisters and brother, Beverly Finley, William Jones, Shirley Brown; niece, Shirley Ann; nephew, Bobby. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Bonnie Hoffman and Rich Nash, William and Connie Jones, Judy and Lee Carnley, Lynda and Paul Pennock, Andrew and Therese Patterson, Tina Jones, Paul and Kara Jones; daughter, Windy and Kerry Lohr; grandchildren: Andrew, Alexander, Alsatia. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Burial was held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
