Robert Shepard III

Robert “Bob” Harold Shepard III, age 55, of Byron Center, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Bob worked at NAPA for 25 years and developed many friendships over the years. He was a sports enthusiast and especially loved Michigan football. He was also part of the pit crew at Berlin Raceway for his uncle. Bob was kindhearted and gentle and had a special bond with small children and babies. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bob” H. Shepard, Jr.; brother, Brian Shepard; grandparents, Robert and Opal Shepard, Archie and Ann Ringler; and several aunts and uncles. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Betty Shepard; life partner, Donna Massel; many special cousins, aunts, and uncles. According to his wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial gathering will be planned.
