Robert Mennes

Robert Mennes, age 89, of Allendale, went to be with his Heavenly Father and his dear Franky on Sunday, September 22, 2024. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Robert and Pam Mennes, Michael and Amy Mennes, Laura Mennes; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Joanne “Franky”; son, Glenn Mennes; and his siblings. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He loved his NASCAR, football, gardening, and his baby dogs. Bob had a wonderful sense of humor and will be dearly missed by all that knew him. At Bob’s request, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at Allendale Township Cemetery.
