Robert Lorenz Fritsch

Robert Lorenz Fritsch, age 69, of Allendale, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 22, 2021, after a long battle with CLL (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia). He followed in his father’s footsteps and worked his career at Dupont, where he retired after many years. He loved fishing with his sons, and was always making friends wherever he went. Most of all, he lived for and loved spending time with his kids and grandkids, known as their “Papason.” He also proudly served in the U.S. Marines during Vietnam. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons: John and Kelly Fritsch, Dan and Darcy Fritsch; grandchildren: Caleb, Kendall, Quinn, Norah; 3 sisters and 2 brothers; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Anthony and Audrey Harriet. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 12-1 p.m at the funeral home. Due to gathering restrictions, there will be a limit on the number of people who may enter the building at a time.
