Robert VanderKolk, age 79, of Alto, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Bob was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and cherished the memories he made with his family. He enjoyed spending time outside and being by the lake. Bob loved old classic cars and traveled to all 50 states. He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Henrietta VanderKolk. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Geneva (Meiste) VanderKolk; son, Randall and Kimberly VanderKolk; grandchildren, Karlie, Amber, Trenton, and Jared VanderKolk; siblings, Kenneth and Linda VanderKolk, Larry and Vicky VanderKolk, Karen and Carl Formsma; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Cornerstone United Reformed Church, 6442 36th Ave, Hudsonville, with Rev. Philip Vos officiating. Burial Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 2-4 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
