Robert Lee Van Tatenhove

Robert Lee Van Tatenhove, age 74, of Wyoming, affectionately known as Lee, passed away unexpectedly, and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Lee was a kind and loving husband, dad, and grandpa who dearly loved his family. He graciously gave of his time and talents in many ways and was always there for others for whatever the need was. Lee enjoyed serving his community by volunteering with the local food trucks. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Lois; children, Scott and Tina Van Tatenhove, Leigh Anne and Mike Wetzig, Lori and Dave Mulka; 12 grandchildren; Austin and Kayleigh, Amanda, Bryan, Parker, Schuyler, Niya, Jose, Antonio, Brayden, Hailey, Nate, and Justin; brothers, Roger Van Tatenhove, Dale and Mary Van Tatenhove; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dick and Lois Heys, Ron and Michelle Heys, Tim and Lynda Heys, Bill and Kathy Heys, Bev and Dan Trienstra, Tom DeWitt; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Faith Community Christian Reformed Church, 5250 Byron Center Ave SW, Wyoming with Pastor Mike Wetzig and Rev. Roger Groenboom officiating. Burial Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and on Friday from 10-10:45 am prior to the service at church.
