Robert Lee Kuiper

Robert Lee Kuiper, age 63, of Grand Rapids passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019, and went to be with the Lord. Robert was a happy person despite his disability. He loved music and especially liked playing the guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Cornelia (Korhorn) Kuiper; sister, Marie Hoekstra; sisters-in-law, Nancy Kuiper, Jane Kuiper. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Amy Kuiper, Kristy and Shane Woods, and Miya; grandchildren, Jayla, JaLeia, JaEn, Brock, and Brice; his brothers and sisters, Henry Kuiper, Ike Kuiper, Jake and Shirley Kuiper, Jer and Bonnie Kuiper, Etta and Bob Van Dyke, Clare and Jan Kuiper, Sharon and Al Brummel, Mary and Art Bleyenberg, John Hoekstra, Betty and Rich Peterson, Linda and Ron Corson; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2019, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive SW, with Rev. Ronald Van Overloop officiating. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home and Monday 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
