Robert Kelly

Robert Kelly, aged 83 of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, July 18, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wanda and Frank Kiliszewski; wife, Shirley; brothers, Daniel and Vincent Kiliszewski; and brother-in-law, Jack Horter. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Kristina (Kelly) and Ken Lorincz, MaryBeth (Kelly) and Mark Bowen, Teresa (Kelly) and David Nord; 10 grandchildren, Katie, Courtney, Casey, Samantha, Brittany, Krystal, Sabrina, Alana, Ashley, Audrey; brothers and sisters, Patricia Horter, Kenneth and MaryAnn Kelly, Gerry and Patricia Kiliszewski, Johnny and Susie Kiliszewski, Richard and Barb Kiliszewski, Sharon and Mike Dykstra, Jackie Kiliszewski, Julie Kiliszewski; and many nieces and nephews. Robert proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a Kendall School of Design graduate and spent most of his life as a Commercial Artist. Robert retired from Wolverine Worldwide in Rockford, MI. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11:00 am at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1213 52^nd Street SE, Kentwood. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm with a rosary at 7:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
