Robert Karasiewicz, Jr.

Robert David Karasiewicz, Jr., age 75, of Wyoming passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Julia; stepmother, Thelma; brothers, Tony Karasiewicz, and Ken Zarbeck. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Sally Karasiewicz; children, Jennifer and Patrick Reitz, Robert III and Aubrey Karasiewicz, Jeffery and Jessica Karasiewicz; grandchildren, Rinnah, Kara, Cristina, Willow, and Robert IV; siblings, Lynnette Rozella, and Gary and Mary Karr; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Bob proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. He was proud of his 40 years of sobriety, and he touched countless lives as a family, life, and substance abuse counselor. He was committed to his family and a proud American. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with his brother, Gary Karr, officiating. Burial will take place at Marne Cemetery following the service. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 2-3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
