Robert Jay Johnson

Robert J. Johnson, age 71, of Hudsonville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Bob attended Daybreak Church with his wife, Jody. His favorite pastimes included riding motorcycles and watching Detroit Tigers Baseball. He was a kind and loving husband. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne Saigeon, and sister, Becky Hanson. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 18 years, Jody Johnson; sons, Eric Johnson, David Johnson; stepson, James (Nicole) Rouse; brother, Mike Johnson; half-brother, Steve Saigeon; and stepsister, Sharron Saigeon. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 am on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Jamestown) 2371 Riley St., Hudsonville with Pastor Garry Koon officiating. Burial will take place at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 10-11 am prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to The American Cancer Society.
