Mercelline Miller

Mercelline Lois Mary Miller, age 83, of Byron Center, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Agnes (Junglas) Miller; brother, Roger Miller; and sister, Maxine Miller. She will be lovingly remembered by many cousins, friends, and neighbors. She was a lifetime member of St. Mary’s Visitation Parish, New Salem, and lifelong resident of New Salem. Special thanks to Railside Assisted Living and Emmanuel Hospice for their care and support the last few months. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at St. Mary’s Visitation Parish, 2459 146th Ave., Byron Center with Fr. Alan P. Jorgensen presiding. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Visitation Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church prior to the service, where the rosary will take place at 10:30 a.m. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Mary’s Visitation Parish.
