Robert B. Weaver III

December 5, 1968 ~
August 6, 2025

Robert B. Weaver III, age 56, was greeted by his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Bob’s creativity led him to a career in architecture in which he excelled. He was a great student, graduating in the top 10 of the class of 1987 at Caledonia High School, as well as the top 10 of the 1993 architecture class at the University of Michigan. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and friends on Green Lake. He grew up on Brookside Farm in Caledonia and was involved in 4-H at the Kent County Youth Fair. He won Grand Champion Steer in 1982.

He enjoyed all kinds of sports and was an avid fan of University of Michigan Football and the New York Yankees, even though he grew up in the middle of Detroit Tigers Country. Bob played basketball and track in high school, skied downhill and on the water, and later in life found a love for jet skis, speed boats and pontoons. His children, niece and nephew remember him as the go-to boat driver for tubing on Green Lake. He had a love for road biking, something his daughter Madison thanks him for introducing her to.

Bob was owner and operator of Imagitects – Residential Design LLC, where he designed multi-million dollar projects, working alongside his son, Riley. After a hard day's work, he could be found playing his guitar or taking his dog, Bentley, for a walk on the trails in Caledonia.

He will be lovingly remembered by his three children: Madison Weaver, Robert B. Weaver IV “Riley” (Hannah), Santana (Caleb) Hoseth; his mother and father, Robert and Sharon Weaver; sister, Margie (Alvin) Cho; nephew, Micah Cho; and niece, Noelle (Dan) Wharton. Also surviving are special friends: Tammy Kruyswyk and Mike Kowalczyk, and his beloved dog, Bentley.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 15, at Gaines Church, 1612 92nd St. SE, Caledonia, with Rev. Tom Datema officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 616 E. Main St., Caledonia.
