Rick Oppewal

​After a long and valiant battle with multiple health issues, Rick Allan Oppewal, age 60, of Jenison, passed away early Saturday morning May 1, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Catherine Oppewal. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Taeke Oppewal, Chantel Oppewal, Dillon Parsons, Dakota (Alyssa) Parsons; grandchildren, Alexander, Isibella; sister, Kathy (Jerry) Antuma; nephews and niece, Chad (Joy) Antuma, Caitlin Antuma, Kyle Antuma. A private family celebration of Rick’s life will be held at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Gift of Life.
