Richard Sheldon

​Richard “Dick” Franklin Sheldon, age 70, of Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. He worked for several taxi companies in Grand Rapids and then was employed at Gordon Food Service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adelbert and Evelyn Sheldon, two brothers, James Sheldon and Howard Sheldon; sisters; Sandra Reusser, and Geri Baker; niece, Susan Sheldon and Jimmy D. Sheldon; and great aunts. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Rebecca Sheldon, his grandchildren, Steaven and Nala McShane (Reign), Bridgett Burton-Hilton (Jace), Stacy Ossewaarde; a sister, Janet Taylor; several nieces and nephews. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
