Richard Roberts

Richard J. Roberts, age 70, of Jenison, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020, and is now at home with his Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Roberts; sons, Justin and Matthew; and his sister, Margaret Roberts. Richard will be lovingly remembered by his son; Andrew and Marissa Roberts; grandchildren, Jonathan and Leyla Roberts; brother, Ken Roberts; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Richard was proud of his service to the city working for the Water Dept. He enjoyed being outdoors doing various activities. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021, 11 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Ken Stults officiating. Due to the service being limited to 25 people, the service will be livestreamed on the funeral home website (www.mkdfuneralhome.com). Burial Georgetown Township Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Grand Rapids First Church.
