Richard Parente Jr.

Richard Parente Jr., age 60, of Jenison, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and close friend to many. Richard served as a Marine. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Sr. and Marlene Parente. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of three years, Maria; children, Robert Parente, Nicole Parente and her fiancé, Mike Hilty; step-children, Walter Lee Crenshaw, and Michael Crenshaw; two grandchildren, Jaden Crenshaw, and Wyatt Hilty; siblings, Dorothy and Steve Lemmon, Martha Nipke, Beth and John Boon, Sue and Dale Scrivener, John and Carrie Parente, and Janice and Anthony Powell; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 18, at 12 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.  Burial at Georgetown Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, June 18, from 10-11:30 am prior to the service at the funeral home.  Visitors are encouraged to wear masks.
