Richard Gerald TerKeurst

Richard “Dick” TerKeurst, age 92, of Gaines Township, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 6, 2023. Richard was a great people person and loved to donate his time to others, volunteering for many organizations and projects after he retired. He was preceded in death by his siblings, sister Gertrude TerKeurst, Joan Sikkema, Marian Luikaart, Maynard TerKeurst; son-in-law Gary Geenen. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 72 years, Betty TerKeurst; children, Pamela Geenen, Richard TerKeurst, Lori TerKeurst; grandchildren, Adam (Lauren) Geenen, David (Sonya) Geenen, Michael (Darcie) Geenen; great grandchildren, Violet, Levi, Ada, Brooklyn, Harrison, Jack, Allegra; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, February 10, 2023 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood) 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, with Rev. Paul DeVries and Rev. HoonJae Lee officiating. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, an hour prior to the service, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood).
