Richard “Dick” Langton

Richard “Dick” Stanley Langton, age 86, of Kentwood, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 28, 2017.    He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 5 years, Evelyn; sons, Larry (Tammy) Langton, Tom Langton; grandchildren: Michael, Kristina (Dan) Flynn, Matthew, Marlee, Cayman, and Abby; great grandson, Knox; sister, Delores Taggert. He was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne. Dick moved from the Detroit area to Grand Rapids in 1967. Dick enjoyed golfing, playing cards and enjoying time traveling with Evie.  He was a longtime member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church .  A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood) 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, with Rev. Troy Nevins presiding.  Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.  The family will meet relatives and friends Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home and Thursday, 30 minutes before the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.  Condolences may be sent online at www.mkdfuneralhome.com.
