Richard Dale Hansen

Richard Dale Hansen, age 76, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.  He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion.  He loved playing darts and pool, winning several pool championships, and also enjoyed making model cars.  He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed having fun and sharing stories.   He was known for his kind heart and he was willing to help others.  He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Suzannah and Richard Succaw; grandchildren: Aalyiah Harvey, Sara Harvey, A.J. Start; sister, Carla and Bryan Huntley; niece and nephew: Tammy Oaks, Tommy Hanis; close friend, Don. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Hansen and Ellen Haney; brother and sisters: Charmaine Mitchell, Jeff Hansen, Virginia Wickman, Dona Hansen; niece, Kristin Hanis. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
