Rev. Dr. Clifton Rhodes, Jr.

Reverend Dr. Clifton Rhodes Jr., Pastor Emeritus of Grand Rapids renowned Messiah Missionary Baptist Church, transitioned to dwell into eternal existence in care of the most high God on Monday, April 16, 2018 with his loved ones surrounding him.  Dr. Rhodes leaves to hold his memory alive in their hearts, his loving and devoted wife of 55 years:  Lady Martha Rhodes; daughter, Michelle (William) Jones; son, Clifton Troy Rhodes; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, seven brothers, one sister, a host of relatives, loved ones and his devoted family of Messiah Missionary Baptist Church.  Public viewing will be Friday, April 20, 2018 from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM.  An evening of reflections will commence at 6:00 PM at Messiah Missionary Baptist Church, 513 Henry SE, GR MI.  Life Observance will be Saturday, April 21, 2018, Family Hour: 10:00 AM, Services 11:00 AM at Kentwood Community Church (please use doors J,K or I), 1200 – 60^th Street, SE, Kentwood, MI.   Arrangements are being entrusted to Crystal T.
