Reese Xavier Abbott

Reese Xavier Abbott, age 17, of Wyoming, was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, November 2, 2016.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry Abbott.  He will be dearly missed by his parents, Kevin and Nicole; siblings, Kendra, Shaen (Katie), and Alexis Abbott, Rebecca Morris; nephews, Josiah Smith, Oliver Abbott; grandparents, Nancy Huizinga, Jon (Gloria) VanLoo; aunts, Laura (Pat) Roys, Kelly Abbott, Candace Parnell; and many cousins and friends. Reese was a funny, intelligent and loveable young man who made everyone laugh.  Reese said his dad was his best friend and he loved to work on cars with him.  He was very helpful to his family and friends and was an awesome grandson. A memorial services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, at 7 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 5-7 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, please consider the needs of the family by making a donation at https://www.crowdrise.com/reeses-memorial-fund/fundraiser/lauraroys.
