Raymond Hintz Jr., age 90, of Wyoming, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023. He proudly served in the Army National Guard. Ray owned and operated the Ray Hintz Standard Service Station in Spring Lake for 10 years. He loved to travel the U.S. with his wife, sometimes on their motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Charlene; children: Rhonda, Rodney, Raelynn; grandson, Mario; and parents, Raymond Hintz Sr. and Clara. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Rory (Nora) Hintz, Robin Burdick, Rochelle Hintz, Russell (Lidia) Hintz, Renee Hintz, Kelly (Chris) Meyers, Michael (Boyd Bradshaw) Hintz; many grandchildren: Rachael (Robert) Weideman, Jessica (Joshua) Bird, Emily Hintz, Kathryn Hintz, Joshua (Meagan) Hintz, Miriah (Jesse) Menditto, Matt Burdick, Mitchell Burdick, Jacinta Maciel, Adrian (Samantha) Maciel, Celeste Maciel, Sergio Maciel, Adam Berray, Kendall Meyers, C.J. Meyers, Cody Stetson, Zack Stetson, Tori, Danielle Dupuis, Abby Dupuis, Drew; 32 great grandchildren; brother, Roger (Joyce) Hintz, Melvin (Judy) Hintz; sister-in-law and brother-in-laws: Garth Tetzlaff, Charlotte (Kenneth) Hoekstra; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2 Michigan St. NE, Grand Rapids, with Pastor Craig Bickel officiating. A private burial will be held at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
