Raymond Barrett

Raymond Lawrence Barrett, age 91, of Allendale, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Mary Barrett; children, Steve (Linda) Barrett, Patricia Barrett, Doug Barrett, Ron Barrett, Don (Mindy) Mills, Pam (Mike) Driesenga; son-in-law, Rick Rood; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol West, Beverly (Fred) Waddell; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank (Pat) Blair; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ray was preceded in death by his children, Maxine Rood, Michelle Fiorenzo, Denise Barrett, Dennis Barrett; brothers-in-law, Jerry West and Fred Blair; and sister-in-law, Nancy Blair. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and retired from C&O Railway. Ray enjoyed spending time at Whiskey Creek Campground and was known as Ranger Ray. He loved doing Knapping with his friends and enjoyed watching his Detroit Lions. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Coopersville VFW Post 5598, 511 68th Ave N., Coopersville or Corewell Health Hospice.
