Phyllis Langeland

Phyllis Jean Langeland, age 78, of Coopersville was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 2, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Vernon Langeland. She is survived by her son, Clayton Langeland; grandson, Jared Langeland; sister, Maxine Schut; brothers-in-law, Chuck Langeland, Fred Langeland; sister-in-law, Norma and Bernie Kloet; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Coopersville Christian Reformed Church, 200 Henry St., Coopersville, with Rev. Lloyd Hemstreet officiating.  Interment Coopersville-Polkton Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (corner of Scott and Avery) 6651 Scott St., Allendale and on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an organization of one’s choice.
