Phyllis Brown

  Phyllis Marie Brown, age 73, of Hastings, passed peacefully into the gates of heaven, with her loving children by her side, on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Phyllis was born on April 14, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant, MI to Hazel and Ralph Coles. She joins her parents, mother, Martha Leist, 3 sisters, Beverly, Edith, and Greta, and the love of her life, Gaylord. She loved spending time with her family and dear friend, Jill. Her memory is carried on lovingly by her children Tonya, Gaylord (Jeff), Teresa (James) Borton, Tami (Rob) Cronce; grandchildren, Chris (Jessica) Sayer, Emily, Meghan, and Caleb Borton; one great granddaughter, Hannah Sayer; sisters, Mary Leist, Carol Leist, Paula Leist; brother, Butch Leist; many, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 25,  2017 at 12:00 pm at Peace Reformed Church, 6950 Cherry Valley Rd, Middleville, with Pastor Ken Kuiper officiating Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10am until the time of the service at the church.
